EQ featured in the September/October issue of The Business Travel Magazine with a guest column on transparency in the in

dustry; news of their eco credentials and with Managing Director Franc Jeffrey providing comment within an article on airlines updates.

In the column, Franc spoke about the need for clarity in the business travel world, and how EQ aims to challenge the industry by offering its services on a transparent, fee-based system, rather than the commonplace ‘fee plus hidden charges’ model.

The magazine also covered the news that EQ is going green.

The Dunfermline firm has recently purchased two new hybrid cars in a bid to lower their CO2 emissions, which will be used as the firm’s company cars, acting as the primary mode of transport for its 8 travel executives.

They are also in the process of researching the feasibility of installing a hydro-electric po

wer project which will harness the power of a natural waterfall which lies on the land to provide clean energy to power EQ.

Franc also commented within an article which focused on the rapidly changing world of the air industry – and he was approached to comment on ways in which businesses can

do their bit for the environment when booking corporate travel.

This coverage was achieved on behalf of EQ Travel Management by Holyrood Partnership.
