Young people in Edinburgh are going to have a new way of learning after a local college announced a new dedicated junior college is to launch later this year.

Edinburgh’s Telford College which will be providing courses for 16-19 year olds has put together a range of courses from construction to creative design.

The courses will be designed to provide support curriculum for excellence and provide young people with an alternative route to employment.

Myra McCabe, head of learner services said the junior college represented the college’s commitment to improving quality of education and training for 16-19 year olds,the scottish governments’s priority group.
