Tea Party Welcomes Arrival of New Garden

Bield Housing And Care Press releases

A sheltered housing complex made a splash featured in the Care Industry News thanks to its celebratory tea party to welcome its upcoming new landscape garden.

Bield’s Carwood Court in Greenock held the party for all 40 residents who enjoyed a day of tea, coffee and a buffet lunch to celebrate the demolition of 32 surrounding properties which no longer fit for purpose. Thanks to this fantastic new landscape, the residents will be able to enjoy the garden at their own leisure, either to relax, to go for a walk or to enjoy a bit of gardening.

In the article, Margaret Lacey, Scheme Manager, said: “It is so exciting for all of the residents to have a outdoor area to spend their time in. Some of the residents have already even spoken about starting up a gardening club which will be fantastic for them socially.

“Many residents used to have gardens before they moved to sheltered accommodation so it’s fantastic for them to have this outdoor space once again as they get older.
