Surf’s Up: Platform Piece Centres on Online Scammers

The SBRC has been given a platform in Edinburgh Evening News, discussing new tricks being used by online scammers on social media platformsThe Scottish Business Resilience Centre (SBRC), has been given a ‘platform’ in a local news publication.

Generating valuable publicity and increased awareness about the work SBRC carries out, director Mandy Haeburn-Little spoke to Edinburgh Evening News about the sharp rise in online scams through social media networks.

In her platform piece, Mandy highlighted the importance of utilising privacy settings online and exercising caution when making friends or business connections on social media platforms.
