Social Media Success Keeps Telford College In The Press

Education institution Telford College receives recognition for its social networking achievement by featuring in the Edinburgh Evening News.

The college, which provides a wide range of career related programmes was highlighted in the capital city’s paper after revealing that it has the most Facebook followers for a Scottish institution.

Over 3,400 people have clicked the “like” button on their Facebook page set up by staff at the college which allows them to connect with fellow students and staff and gain full access to all features of the page.

Miles Dibsdall, OBE Principal at Telford College, is ecastic will the success and said: “It continues to grow in popularity at a rapid pace, which is fantastic for creating a buzz around the college.”

Edinburgh’s Telford College also has a successful following on Twitter, with over 600 followers on their profile @telfordcoll
