Scottish Construction Website Secures Another Piece of Scottish PR Coverage

Scottish Construction Now WebSpace Solutions, has enrolled in a scheme which enables young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to gain valuable work experience. 

They have taken on two male trainees for an initial 11 week work placement, giving them the oppurtunity to learn about the construction sector, at their relocation and opertaions division at The Hub in Livingston.

The NETworks programme, which is run by the children’s charity Barnardos, connects businesses with young people aged 16 to 24 in the Edinburgh area, providing them with the oppurtunity to work with some of the best companies in the city. 

Head of Space Solutions Derek Binnie, quotes in the article: “We’re delighted to be involved with this scheme as it is important for successful businesses to give something back to support the next generation of workers. The two placements have been really successful and we hope that we are helping them encourage and strengthen their skills.”

Helen Brown of the NETworks programme, applauds Space Solution’s involvment in the scheme, commending their enthusiasm in their contribution to the charity’s aim of finding sustainable employment for young people.
