27 JAN Edinburgh Evening News Pg 4 CROPA Dunfermline woman has made the news after being selected to take part in a pioneering leadership programme.

Ruth Glassborow, Interim Director of Safety and Improvement at Healthcare Improvement Scotland, is one of only 18 health professionals in the UK to be selected for the prestigious GenerationQ, a pioneering leadership programme from the independent healthcare charity the Health Foundation.

The story made its way into the Edinburgh Evening News, with readership upwards of 30,000.

It is hoped that the programme will help Ruth to lead work focused on improving the quality of care for patients.

GenerationQ provides an innovative learning experience, including residential leadership forums, the support of individual executive coaching, action learning in facilitated peer groups, the opportunity to engage with systems beyond health and extensive feedback.
