Website hike results in PR Scotland for rental portal

THE UK’s leading residential letting portal has reported a significant rise in their website traffic.

From 2007 to 2011 Citylets have seen a 200% rise and the company also claims that enquiries to agents rose by 21% in the past year.

Thomas Ashdown is delighted with the growth and said: “We operated in broadly the same geographies as 2010 and are confident these results reflect not just a growth in the rental market, but a growth in our market share. Traffic to Citylets is now three times what it was just four years ago.”

The company has also claimed to be the only site in its genre to maintain a top 100 position throughout the year, maintaining also it was the most visited lettings site in the UK.

Citylets states, agent offices on site (Scotland & N Ireland) grew over the year to 450, up 12.5% from the previous year.

The success of the increase in their website traffic coincides with positive news for the property market as revealed in their quarterly data report. The detailed report into Scotland’s private rental market shows the sector to be in fine wealth.
