Well thumbed Edinburgh publication the Evening News reported the fact that a previously unknown and rare stained glass panel which celebrates one of Scotland’s most famous sons had been uncovered on the site of Edinburgh’s newest boutique hotel.

The collection of three windows had been obscured for decades and only came to light during renovation work on the Fraser Suites hotel in St Giles Street.

The publication explained: “Renovating old buildings can often throw up some unpleasant surprises.

“But the developers of a new hotel in the heart of the Capital got a more welcome surprise when they uncovered three beautiful stained glass window panels, featuring doves and roses arranged around a central Saltire linked to the work of one of Edinburgh’s most famous citizens, Sir Patrick Geddes.”

The full article can be read in the Evening News.

Fraser Suites Edinburgh turned to highly regarded Scottish public relations company Holyrood Partnership, PR in Scotland, to promote the launch of their new boutique hotel.
