The Scothedge campaign reached India after a news sheet for the Thai population in the country publicised the group’s campaign against overgrown vegetation.

The Thaindian News reported the fact that the Scothedge group lobbied MSPs in Scotland with a plea for legislation to create guidelines and an arbitration procedure.

The paper explained that around 300 members in the Scothedge group have been directly affected by the problem of outsize hedges, trees or shrubs.

The said: “After road rage, air rage took off, its now time for ‘hedge rage’ – courtesy some Scottish people who are growing high hedges of trees and other vegetation that leaves their neighbours in the dark.”

The full article can be read in the Thaindian News.

Scothedge enjoyed a hugely successful media photocall and subsequent PR coverage due to the professional services of Holyrood Partnership, PR in Scotland.
