Great coverage for Scottish flagship Primark store

Primark featured in a double page spread in The Scotsman on the day of their Princes Street store opening.

The article explains that business leaders are hoping that the launch of the new store in Edinburgh will kickstart a successful run up to Christmas for the High Street.

Shoppers have long hoped to see a Primark arrive in the capital, and finally the low-price retailer has landed.

Primark chief executive Paul Marchant said: “We are delighted to be opening our Scottish flagship store on Edinburgh’s Princes Street.  We know there has been a huge demand for a Primark in Edinburgh so we are delighted to finally be turning this into a reality.”

A spokesman for Primark added: “We have been working tirelessly to create our new flagship store in the heart of Edinburgh over the past year, so we’re delighted to announce that it will be completed and open to shoppers.”

The article is a great piece of publicity for the store on its opening day.

This coverage was secured on behalf of Primark, thanks to the excellent media relations of The Holyrood Partnership.
