PR Success for Vittorias from launch of water wars

Vittoria in the Evening News, highlighted by Holyrood Partnership PR in EdinburghStaff at Vittorias – the leading Italian restaurant in Edinburgh – are celebrating after the Evening News ran two stories on its unusual water debate. 

Restaurant owner Tony Crolla has sparked the debate after considering to remove Acqua Panna Italian bottled water and replace it with Scottish Water from his diners in Leith Walk and George IV Bridge.

Tony felt that it was sending out a wrong environmental message to be importing water from Italy, but he was very aware that many of his customers like to have genuine Italian products when they eat and drink at his restaurants

But rather than simply decide for himself he decided to let his customers make the final choice.

Customers will be able to vote at the Vittorias website and take part in street taste tests.
