PR Agency’s organisational guru needs her own special friend

Linsay’s Hobbie was a real labour of love (just like running a PR Agency)
THIS Holly Hobbie doll almost didn’t make the list.
She is the much loved childhood toy of Linsay Robertson, the office manager who makes everything tick at Edinburgh PR agency, Holyrood Partnership.
Yet for the past 12 years the soft toy closest to Linsay’s heart has been Pongo, the Andrex puppy which has been her daughter’s comforter since she was two.
However, the rest of the Holyrood PR team urged Linsay to bring in a reminder of her own childhood.
And that meant there was no real competition because Holly Hobbie has been with Linsay “since the beginning of time” (we think she might be slightly exaggerating).
The floppy doll, with pigtails and a bonnet, was always in Linsay’s rucksack and their favourite activity was hillwalking together.
However, during one hill walking trip Linsay was sick on Holly Hobbie. That resulted in a spin in the washing machine (Holly, not Linsay).
During that process, Holly Hobbie’s hat came off and this resulted in her ending up partly bald.
