Panton McLeod has scored coverage with the introduction of new full time chairman

UK water quality engineering firm has announced the appointment of their new chairman Jim Panton son of company founder and senior water industry figure Jim R Panton.

Panton Mcleod who inspects, cleans and repairs water storage facilities for some of the UK’s largest utility firms have appointed Jim Panton, former chief of charity Erskine and Poppy Scotland as Chairman as a part of a wider management re-structure designed to grow the business throughout the country.

Chief Operating Officer Iain Weir said of the appointment “Having Jim taking the reins as full time chairman is a major coup for Panton McLeod. He brings a great deal of business experience and acumen that will be invaluable in our growth strategy over the next few years.”

Jim Panton is also delighted at the appointment. “I’m very proud to be taking over the position that my father held for so long. He built Panton McLeod from scratch and, under his tenure as chairman; the company has gone from strength to strength and is now one of the most prominent names in the water industry.”
