Edinburgh’s Telford College is giving those passionate about music a unique opportunity to pursue their entrepreneurial skills with a Music Business Apprenticeship course.

The course which is delivered in partnership with the Academy of Music and Sound is giving 18 apprentices the chance to develop valuable skills as well as network with key industry professionals.

Included in the course will be information on the importance of networking, designing and submitting business plans and identifying and securing sponsorship opportunities whilst being supported by a designated mentor.

Myra Dickson, Head of Employer Services, said she was excited about the apprenticeship and added the college will be looking to increase the number of places available in September.
