Patton Construction has been featured in a news article on BBC Online thanks to their use of robots during a major development in Edinburgh.

The Northern-Ireland based construction company are in the process of creating Primark’s flagship store on the capital’s famous shopping strip, Princes Street.

As part of the deconstruction of the former Marks & Spencer store, four robots have been brought in to break down walls and floors.

The robots are a key feature to ensure the team’s safety and minimise danger whilst within the complicated structure of the building.

Site manager Barry Henderson is also quoted in the article, explaining the importance of the machines and the complex nature of the deconstruction.

Patton Construction was commisioned to construct Primark’s flagship store following their success with the fit out of five Primark stores across Scotland.

The coverage can be seen on the BBC News website and was the result of a PR in Scotland campaign carried out for Patton Construction by Edinburgh PR agency the Holyrood Partnership.
