Kushi’s restaurant, the star dish at the List

Project Work and Other Clients Media Coverage

APR Small Kushi's The List 76 CROPThe oldest indian restaurant in Scotland, Kushi’s, gained coverage in the renowned  leisure magazine, The List.

Kushi’s caught their attention last week due to the family’s dedication and commitment to high-quality food and the beautifully presented dishes. Although it has been opened since 1947, the interiors are new and modern given that it only moved into its new location, in Antigua Street, Edinburgh, on 2011.

A great place to go with large groups, the first Khushi’s restaurant was opened in Edinburgh’s Potterrow by Khushi Mohammed, a penniless Indian immigrant who arrived in Britain in the mid 1930s after being lured by the Commonwealth promise of work and a better life. The restaurant quickly became popular with the city’s growing Asian community, many of whom were students at nearby Edinburgh University, as well as attracting food lovers looking to try new cuisines.
