Warners coverage in Scotland on Sunday's At Home magazine

IT consultant Alan Airth has spent 10 years renovating his mid-terrace villa in the fashionable Juniper Green area of Edinburgh and turning it into the dream home he wanted for his family.

But now, just as the house is finally looking like he’d always visualised it, he and his wife Lorraine are preparing to move again – and they have been forced to put their labour of love back on the market.

The couple have spent the past decade overhauling the five bedroom property, installing a new heating and windows, and redecorating it into the perfect family home.  Now, just weeks after putting the Belmont Road property up for sale, it has featured in Scotland on Sunday’s influential At Home magazine.

It described the property by saying that Alan and Lorraine had: “perfected the combination of country and contemporary in their Juniper Green home” as well as “setting the aesthetic tone with its contemporary lines, attention to detail and lovely use of colour”.

The property in Juniper Green is now being marketed by Warners, Edinburgh’s number one estate agent and is on the market for offers around £425,000 (0131 667 0232or wwww.warnersol.com)
