Dental Clinic Gets Spectrum Showcase Thanks to Public Relations Experts
Scotland's newest and most impressive cosmetic dentistry specialist has celebtated bumper coverage in one of the country's most respected Sunday newspapers.
Since it opened earlier this year, the £750,000 Lubiju clinic in Leith has used experts with Scottish public relations agency Holyrood Partnership to raise its profile.
Now the clinic and its work has been heavily featured in the popular Spectrum lifestyle magazine which is part of Scotland on Sunday, the nation's biggest selling quailty Sunday title.
Blind bride's PR success story
In a two page feature - headlined The Bride Wore Ivoiries - the magazine told the story of Lubiju patient Rachel Finlayson, who had here smile and her confidence rebuilt at the state-of-the-art practice.
Rachel, who is slowly being robbed of her sight by a genetic eye conditon, wanted photographs from her wedding day that she could remember for the rest of her life, despite encroaching blindness.
But when her fiance proposed, she was blighted with misshapen, crooked and badly stained teeth, which meant she rarely smiled except with her mouth closed.
Now she has revealed how a series of sessions at Lubiju, which has the ambience of a five-star hotel and uses the most advanced treatments available, transformed her life.
Dr Biju Krishan, who co-founded Lubiju, is a one of the most experienced cosmetic dentists in Scotland and he not only carried out extensive work on Rachel, he also helped her overcome a lifelong fear of dentists.
Rachel revealed how the £3000 of work carried out not only ensured her wedding day was a huge success - it has also increased her confidence and improved her day-to-day life.
