Jenny Eclair, top comedian returns to Scotland’s capital to host Edinburgh’s Telford College graduation. The former Perrier Award winner is familiar with the city as she has worked here during the Fringe Festival with her stand up show ‘Prozac and Tantrums’. The celebration was based around themes of earth, wind, water, fire and was the place to be for the college’s students, who were all excited to see Jenny.

Principal Miles Dibsdall OBE said: “We’re absolutely thrilled that Jenny Eclair agreed to host the graduation, and I know our learners were excited to have her leading the celebrations.

“Jenny was the first ever female winner of the Perrier comedy award and a regular face during the Fringe for many years, so she has a strong Edinburgh pedigree.  Edinburgh’s Telford College prides itself in being a leading edge institution.

“All of our learners have worked exceptionally hard to pass their courses, so we wanted to give them a memorable graduation. This event is a true celebration of excellence and the ceremony will definitely be one that’s talked about for years to come.”

Edinburgh’s Telford College is a very successful education establishment and strives to get many of its students into further education like university. It has around 17,000 students and 600 members of staff.
