Outstanding construction PR for safety monitors

The innovative HAVmeter system has received a major piece of industry acclaim after being featured in a high profile construction quality journal.

The system, which is used to monitor exposure to vibration in order to prevent workers contracting Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS), was highlighted in the pages of Site Recorder magazine – a leading industry title produced by The Institute of Clerks of Works that provides news and opinions about the construction sector.

The magazine highlighted how the technology had helped hire sector firm WHC Hire Services secure the health & safety prize at the recent Hire Awards of Excellence. The firm had been providing the monitors, which are designed and manufactured by Reactec Ltd, to help raise awareness among construction workers about the dangers of HAVS – one of the most crippling diseases associated with the use of industrial power tools.
