Great PR in Scotland for Gibson Kerr with The Scotsman

An Edinburgh based family law firm Gibson Kerr has been making headlines with their predictions of social networking being a major factor in the breakdown of marriages and relationships.

Facebook and twitter will become the biggest reason for couples divorcing or separating over the festive period according to the Scottish family lawyers.

Gibson Kerr believes that the popularity of social media could create a nightmare for couples over the Christmas and New Year period

Fiona Rasmusen, partner at the family law firm said “Social media is increasingly becoming a big factor in divorce cases around the UK.

“With so many younger people in their twenties and thirties using social networking sites on computers and mobile phones, it’s never been easier to connect with the virtual world.

She added ”  But the by product of spending all your time on Facebook  or Twitter puts a strain on your own relationship especially if one partner is using these sites to send sexually suggestive messages.”

This coverage was secured with The Scotsman as part of a sustained public relations campaign by Holyrood Partnership on behalf of Gibson Kerr.
