HELL HATH NO FURY LIKE A BOTTOM SCORNED (Laura)

Pippa Middleton’s infamous bottom may be a hit with her male admirers but it seems that it’s not so popular with women who do not have the blessing of a peachy backside. A motorist in the Birmingham area, has been spotted driving a Peugot 206 daubed with the message ‘Is Pippa’s bum still better than mine’ after his jealous lover flew into a rage after he compared the two derriere’s. It maybe a little over the top but it does show how much a celebrity Pippa’s bum has become in it’s own right and that it is still being talked about weeks after the wedding. One thing’s for sure though this unlucky chap will think twice before he makes any comments about his partner’s appearance – men be warned whenever a woman asks whether she is more or less attractive than someone, she is always always more attractive!

HOW 3D GLASSES HELPED DEFEAT HITLER (Adrian)

Although 3D glasses have helped shape modern cinema for better or for worse, the technology has been around for a lot longer than Avatar. Scientists have been perfecting 3-D technology for decades – and this fact has been highlighted further after new photos were released showing how the glasses were even used to bring down Adolf Hitler and the Nazi party during World War II. The photos show how a team of second World War experts disrupted Nazi plans to bombard Britain by using special 3D glasses designed to identify and locate Hitler’s deadly V-1 and V-2 rockets. During Operation Crossbow the RAF tracked down, identified and destroyed hundreds of the rockets using 3-D technology, which enabled the Allies to gain the upper hand against the German assault. Somehow, that seems like a far better and more beneficial use of 3-D than last year’s Clash of the Titans remake…

THAT DOESN’T MEAN WHAT YOU THINK IT MEANS (Scott)

Remember old Ethel in EastEnders who was always using words in the wrong context? It’s a common problem in daily life – there’s even a word for it: malapropism. While this has been used to great comic effect down the centuries, turns out there are all sorts of ordinary, every day words which have shifted in meaning after being widely misused.

I HOPE THAT’S NOT ABOUT ME (Andrea)

Going to university can be a daunting prospect –  moving away from home, living in an unfamiliar place, studying without boundaries, and of course, not getting on with your roommate. This feature on CollegeHumor.com lets students spill the beans on the pranks, acts of revenge and sometimes disgusting wind ups they have played on their (sometimes) innocent roommates at college. Ranging from switching face wash with hand soap, to super gluing coins to a ‘guys naked body whilst he was asleep, it’s an eye-opening insight into the world of college dorms.
