First Call FundraisingRivals Battle for PR Scotland.

Home assistance company, First Call, received coverage in the charity press with news of a unique charitable partnership between rival Edinburgh football clubs.

Edinburgh based First Call will be working to raise funds for the teams’ charities, Big Hearts and Hibernian Community Foundation, through an innovative fundraising arrangement.

The partnership marks their commitment commitment to the local community and with every sale of a home emergency policy made through the clubs’ websites, 15% of the monthly fee will go to their respective charities.

John Dickson, National Sales Director, said: “Business and football allegiances aside, it’s very important for us to help local charitable causes, and the fantastic work the Hearts and Hibs Trusts’ do for community development projects is highly regarded in Edinburgh.

“We are thrilled to pledge our support and we hope the revenues raised can help make a difference to these hugely worthwhile causes.”

The coverage can be viewed on the Fundraising website and was secured on behalf of First Call thanks to the expertise of Holyrood Partnership.
