First Call Home AssistNorth Edinburgh News covers First Call’s partnership with The Yard’s local adventure play project

The Edinburgh-based home emergency firm, First Call Home Assist, has partnered with The Yard, a local adventure play project designed for children with additional support needs to ensure the well-being of children and young people with learning difficulties.

The scheme uses a link on The Yard‘s homepage, and with every sale of a home emergency policy it generates, 15% of the monthly fee will go to The Yard directly.

First Call’s managing director, Paul Greaves, said: “The Yard is an amazing service which our family, and many others, rely upon heavily.

“It is the only place where we can truly relax, free of anxieties and of judgment from others; somewhere we don’t have to explain or defend our child.

The Yard also acknowledges the tough position that siblings of children with additional support needs are in, and it is as much a service for them as it is for others.”

Services offered by The Yard include open play family sessions, holiday play sessions, free play and curriculum linked sessions for special schools.

First Call Home Assist aims to deliver a fresh new approach to the home assistance sector by offering cheaper and better policies – supported by directly employed engineers, a UK network of contractors and 24/7 claim call centre.

First Call is a fully FSA regulated Scottish home assistance company with a fresh new approach to delivering customer focused products their clients need and rely on.
