Great PR For Edinburgh College

The video marked the launch of their society for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender students which was established as part of their LGBT history month.

At the same time, Telford hosted a conference which featured talks from some key figures from the LGBT community.

Barbara Lawson, Head of External Liaison at the college said: “We are proud to be the only further education institution in Scotland to go forward with this and believe it will help many people in their constant battles for acceptance.

“Every day we open our doors to a diverse range of people so we thought it would be good to embrace this diversity.

It’s important for us to treat everyone who studies at Edinburgh’s Telford College with equal respect whether that be people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender.”

Telford college is one of Scotland’s largest further education institutions and currently has around 17,000 students.
