Eagle Couriers fly into the news with three pieces

Eagle Couriers Media Coverage

Weeks of success for Eagle Couriers Scottish PR

Scotland’s leading independent courier firm Eagle Couriers has secured a host of exclusive coverage this week.

  1. The Edinburgh Evening News, the capital’s evening newspaper – and the sister title to The Scotsman – has reported on a recent prediction that Eagle Couriers made in the run-up to Valentines Day: that it would have a bumper day of business thanks to deliveries of romantic presents, flowers and cards.

The firm, which employs 100 people between Edinburgh and Glasgow, said that it expected romantic Scots to shun the credit crunch when it comes to Valentines gifts, and added that it predicted it would experience a 20% rise in business on February 14.

2. The Evening News also reported on Eagle Couriers scheme offering to give local community groups and charities a special donation to aid their work in the area. After receiving numerous requests from across the Lothians, the firm decided to give their support to the Five Sisters Zoo in West Lothian – and to sponsor the zoo’s resident Eagle owl Ollie.

3. Finally, Eagle Couriers secured another piece of online coverage after Big Lorry Blog published an article about the firm’s new tyre socks, which are being trialled on Eagle vans in the north of Scotland.

The blog, which has regular contributors from Commercial Motor and Truck & Driver magazines, highlighted the new Auto Sock technology which Eagle Couriers has introduced to cope with the treacherous Scottish weather this winter.
