Eagle Couriers Says No To Rising Fuel Prices

Great PR For Scottish Courier Firm

Jerry Stewart, director of Eagle Couriers, featured as a case study in The Scotsman.

The interview came straight after the Budget was announced.  Jerry discussed the Chancellor’s decision to impose higher fuel taxes.

Jerry admitted to being relieved at the decision, but that he would have liked to have seen a more generous way of capping fuel rises than the “fair fuel stabiliser”.

The Bathgate-based boss said: “I thought the Chancellor might have given us some respite from the cost of fuel galloping up.  Every time I drive past the pumps I notice an increase.

“This is pushing up our running costs, but we have to stay competitive.”

The article is a great piece of coverage for the courier firm, which has a fleet of over 90 vehicles.

This coverage was secured on behalf of Eagle Couriers, thanks to the excellent media relations of The Holyrood PR.
