Families locally and from afar made their way to Dunfermline last Saturday for an Easter themed event which included: story telling from the Craackleheat Storytellers, magic from Graham Dodds and even a surprise visit from the Easter Bunny himself, who was giving out chocolate treats!

There were many fun activites throughout the day such as: games, music and giveaways at the Kingdom FM Stage, a hunt for the Easter Bunny and his friends hidden in various shop windows as well as some very creative entries in the Easter Bonnet Parade. Prizes for the winners included – chocolate treats, vouchers for Alberto’s Kitchen and  tickets to Carnegie Hall shows Each, Peach, Pear, Plum and The Mark of Zorro. There was also a chance to see some cute, furry animals courtesy of the Fife Animal Park.

Maggie Mitchell, Chief Executive of Dunfermline Delivers, said: “Overall the event was a huge success with such a fantastic turn out from both the local community and from further afield taking part in the festivities.

“A big thankyou to our sponsors Kingsgate Shopping Centre, Marks and Spencers and Poundland, performers and the local businesses who worked hard to ensure the festival was a great success.”
