Hi My Name’s Laura And I’m Addicted To Shoes…

Holyrood PR Blog

Most weeks, a call for “LAURA BERRY” will be hollered through the front door by a delivery man, brandishing a large parcel. Nine times out of ten it will be a pair of shoes for Laura – a succession of footwear that is  increasingly gravity defying in  nature.

Her latest package contained a pair of six inch nude platform heels which she insisted were “sensible”, prompting hoots of laughter and disbelief around the office (pictured above).

Perhaps it’s a reasonable claim considering a recent pair of bad boys were so extreme, they actually came with a serious health and safety warning in the box!  They had a vertigo inducing eight inch platform and NO HEEL.  Brave or what? She even got a pair of boots for ice fishing.

Personally I admire her greatly for being able to strut around wobble free in her platforms looking great whereas I tend to look like a baby giraffe taking its first steps!

Laura’s greatest shoe triumph to date was when she collected her CIPR Scotland Young Communicator of the Year award in a pair of beauts that are still referred to with admiration at CIPR Committee meetings.

However, Laura reserves her wacky shoes for nights on the tiles and works the flats in the office.

No surprise really. A PR pocket rocket like Laura doesn’t need heels to stand tall when she’s busy getting superb results for our clients!
