Clients score Scottish Football Hat-trick, Gallop into the headlines and make express delivery to produce Great PR

This week at Holyrood PR we’ve seen a horse-themed event gallop away with plaudits for rejuvenating a Scots town, we’ve seen catering experts score a Scottish Premiership winner, and we’ve seen a client collect a lifetime achievement accolade, and it’s all featured in this jam-packed edition of HPR TV!

First up we’ve been helping tell the story of how catering experts Sodexo Prestige Venues & Events have scored an impressive hat-trick – after securing a contract with a third Scottish Football stadium.

The company secured a three-year contract with Tannadice Park, the home of Dundee United, to provide the stadium with conference, hospitality and banqueting services as well as a bespoke catering and events packages.

The tasty Tannadice deal saw Soxedo score a wide range of coverage as the story was featured in Scotland Food and Drink website, The Fife Business Journal online and the Daily record online.

We’ve also helped celebrate an amazing milestone for Jerry Stewart, a director of Eagle Couriers, Scotland’s biggest independent courier company. He was recognised for more than 20 years membership with The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.

For his years of dedicated service Jerry received a certificate and honorary lapel pin which was presented to him by the respected trade body.

This great achievement for Jerry received coverage in Edinburgh Evening News, Aberdeen business news online, Fife Business Journal online and the West Lothian.

Finally Banks Group also enjoyed some fantastic coverage which cantered on over three weeks, thanks to the company’s involvement in the Ready Steady Gallop project. Hamilton in South Lanarkshire hosted the Ready Steady Gallop event during which 25 life size fibreglass Clydesdale Horse sculptures popped up all over the town as part of a bid to increase community engagement and encourage more visitors.

Banks Group donated £20,000 to allow the two most popular horse sculptures to be put out to pasture permanently in the town and the award winning PR team at Holyrood PR arranged for local newspaper, The Hamilton Advertiser, to run an online competition offering readers the chance to vote for their favourite horses.

The result? Coverage for Banks three weeks running, while the online vote generated huge readership engagement with hundreds of people casting their votes.
