QueryClick on Deadline News websiteFun loving staff at one of the country’s search marketing agencies have earned valuable online coverage with their clever festive greetings.

The 10-strong team at QueryClick help a wide range of big name clients to get maximum benefit from their websites and other online presence.

So for the festive season they dreamt up a series of cheeky digital Christmas messages – which caught the attention of the media.

By using strategically placed asterisks they appeared to turn innocent seasonal tidings into naughty phrases – including, “Merry C****tmas”, “Jingle B*lls” and “Nice B**bles”

The concept was to point out to businesses that it is often what is missing that says the most – because so many businesses have attractive web sites which fail to deliver real benefit.

Now the success of the campaign has been reported by Scottish media site, Deadline News, which gets 30,000 visitors per week.

QueryClick’s services include search engine optimisation (SEO), pay per click advertising (PPC) and in helping companies convert web visitors into customers.

Recognising that online marketing works most effectively in tandem with traditional media exposure, QueryClick uses Holyrood Partnership, PR in Scotland, to boost its profile through an integrated PR campaign.
