Bupa Care Services Press releases

Public relations in Scotland for Bupa by Holyrood PR in EdinburghA Bupa Care Home in Glasgow has received a touching tribute to commemorate the life of a former resident.

Bupa’s Eastbank Care Home has taken delivery of a bench in memory of former resident John McQueen who lived at the home between July 2012 and June 2013.

The bench was donated by John McQueen’s wife, Betty McQueen, and was installed by maintenance staff at the home.

The bench has taken pride of place in the home’s new patio area – and is already being enjoyed by residents, guests and family members alike.

Stephen Hagan, Manager at Eastbank Care Home, said the bench is a welcome addition to the home’s garden.

He said: “It was an extremely kind gesture for Betty McQueen to donate a new bench to the home in honour of her late husband.

I personally think it’s a great way to remember a loved one – I was touched when I found out.

Residents and guests have been enjoying the new bench in our newly built patio area – which has now also become a place to remember John.”
