Edinburgh’s leading letting agent Braemore Property Management has secured a high-profile feature in the “Smart Money” section of The Scotsman.

The firm, which manages 850 properties across Edinburgh worth more than £250 million, provided the newspaper with a list of property refurbishment tips in order to show readers how to improve the marketability of their homes.

The list was devised by Andrew Markham, who heads Braemore’s new property refurbishment service – which offers landlords the chance to upgrade their properties in order to maximise rents and ensure they attract tenants. The service has already proved popular with foreign investors who let their properties through Braemore, and Andrew’s department is expecting to expand the service even further in 2009.
