Great coverage in Scotland for Hamilton-based company

Banks Property featured in the Fife Free Press after being given the green light to build 141 new homes in Cardenden.

The houses will be part of a sustainable and attractive community, which will be a great addition to Cardenden.

Colin Anderson, managing director of the company, said in the article: “We are extremely pleased this has now been given the go-ahead.

“This development will be a real boom to Cardenden and we’d like to thank the local community for all the feedback they gave us during the local consultation. They really did play a crucial role in shaping the plans.”

The development will include two, three and four bedroom homes and will be built on a site which includes a derelict garage and an area of disused farmland.

The article says that ten per cent of the site will be given over to affordable housing.  The development will also create two play parks as past of a clean-up of the Boghead Burn.

Mr Anderson continued: “Everything our company does is about partnering with local communities.

“This development will be open, airy with sustainable homes set in in attractive green space.  It is a fitting addition to the town and is a positive look to the future.”
